First-up: The Cabana Club, an open-air nightclub on the hotel's 5th-floor deck, promising "the only open-air nightlife experience in Atlantic City and the east coast outside of Miami." Think live DJ's, an "island bar," and a pool area with private cabanas. During daylight hours, masseuses, palm readers, and chilled hand towels are offered up to pamper guests, and an extensive cocktail menu (plus pitchers of sangria, daiquiris, and margaritas!) are available anytime. But! Nighttime partytime is 10 pm – 4 am on weekends, and daylight pool parties go from 2 pm to 8 pm on Saturdays and Sundays admission is guaranteed for hotel guests, but "based upon door policy and time of day" for non-guests.
On the same floor (the fifth floor, natch where all of the Chelsea's nightlife/entertainment stuff is), C5 is born (and is actually linked to the Cabana Club through a wall of glass doors) which touts itself as "the anti-club." It's supposed to be a more sophisticated spin on the club scene in AC already, a "classic cocktail lounge with a glamorous rock ‘n’ roll edge." C5 will have tons of performers scheduled, including resident Berrie (of Tao Las Vegas and Tenjune fame).
Rates at the Chelsea for Memorial Day weekend start at $249.
