There are two reasons why this casino rocks: Its T-Spa far-and-away outshines any spa in Seattle and its accommodations are ridiculously nice. Standard rooms are chic and spacious (starting at 500 sq. ft.), but for high rollers, Tulalip’s ultra-hip suites are the rooms to book. Not for the size-phobic, suites start at 1240 sq. ft. ranging up to 2500 sq. ft.
The Players Suite is a bachelor(ette) fave, dedicated to sports, gaming and fun. It includes an arcade-style Golden Tee video golfing game, dartboard, custom pool table, Wii (hello, late night Guitar Hero!), and sports memorabilia and trophies. It also features a fully loaded wet bar, 15-person shower, and enough oversized flat screen TVs to keep even the most ESPN-addicted guest occupied.
Gearheads get their groove on in the Jetsons-like Tech Suite. Slick décor, state of the art electronics (including a 70” LCD flat screen TV), and a whirlpool tub with digital touch screen controls round out the futuristic vibe.
Whether you opt for the Pan-Asian Suite or the Grand Asian Suite, expect an exotic east meets west space that evokes the spirit of the Silk Road. Rich jacquard fabrics, river stone accents and slate fountains create a Zen-like environment that incorporates wood, water, stone and light.
So go on, book an overnight stay, tear it up and tempt lady luck. Yeah, it’s not exactly the bright lights/big city Vegas, but it’s within forty-five, oh-so convenient minutes of Seattle and is as civilized and sophisticated as any big city gambling establishment.
Rooms start at $150.
