Are we feeling a little hoighty-toighty today? Perhaps the best way to handle this is by reaching into the back of your humidor for that special cigar and heading down to the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans in order to join their new private smoking club: The Library. The rest of the hotel may be non-smoking, but The Library welcomes puffers Monday through Sunday from 5pm to midnight.

Charter memberships are still available at this, one of the city's only smoking-allowed clubs, which will spend its inaugural season conducting monthly tastings and seminars with the Spirits Sommelier, Whiskey Ambassador or the Cognac Concierge. Oh, what we'd give to have the latter on our resume.

To experience The Library at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, there are some uncharacteristically low rates circulating for May and June. Starting from $199, the glamor of a luxurious night's sleep accompanied by a long dreg from something hecho a mano can be yours, so long as you're willing to slink down to The Big Easy for it.
