The new(ish) 114-room property is surprisingly modern in design, especially by Holiday Inn's standard milquetoast aesthetics. Guests relax in low-slung chairs glued to their laptops in the lively lounge area, mindful of the oversized monitor listing flight arrival and departure times. Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas is free, although guests need to request an access code at the front desk in 20- or 60- minute increments. Friendly hotel staff didn't flinch when several hours of access time was requested at once.
Access to the elevators and five floors of rooms is secured by a guard and a clear gate. Immaculate rooms sprawl with ample work space, comfortable beds and a lounging area, large plasma televisions with countless cable channels, spacious bathrooms, and the early flight essential: an in room coffee maker. Other on-site amenities include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and two saunas, plus a small but fairly well-equipped fitness center tremendously appreciated when trying to ease travel-related stress. The business center is unstaffed, but kitted with copying, internet, printing and faxing services.
The best part about this hotel is that you never have to schlep your luggage very far or brave the back-and-forth logistics of a taxi; walk across the street and within minutes you'll have your boarding pass in hand. Rates begin at $166 USD.
