Got a Florida ID? You can stay at the Riviera South Beach for 50 percent off the room rates.

Starting April 12th, the hotel launches its Florida resident special-- 50% off nightly rates. Complete with one-bedroom apartment-like suites averaging 700-square-feet and full gourmet kitchens, the Riviera is the perfect vacation retreat for locals who have always wanted their own South Beach crash pad, but now at a fraction of the price.

The deal is good through June 23 and you will need to present valid Florida ID at check-in. We checked room rates for April 12 and a studio suite was going for $163 a night. Meaning with your Florida ID that's roughly $81 a night. A one-bedroom suite, originally $180 a night, is now yours for $90 a night. If you aren't a Florida resident, that sucks. But there are ways around it.

Not that we would advocate calling up any old friends in Florida that you haven't spoken to in years, or making an excuse to visit Granny, or grabbing a random Starbucks barista off the street to check in for you, we're just saying, those ideas could also also work.
