Late Night Grub Now Available at The Delano

We've all been there. Late night in a hotel room. Maybe alone. Maybe with someone else. And the urge to stuff your face is getting harder and harder to resist. But room service seems so extravagant, especially when you are a drunken mess. Not to mention it could get extremely messy.
Never fear. The Delano Hotel in South Beach has come to the rescue. A new "mini-French" bistro, Plat Beau has opened in the hotel's Blue Door lounge. It's open from 11:30am but keeps going with a special late menu from 11 to 2pm during the week and until 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturday. God does love the drunks! From the Miami Herald:
Choose bistro staples such as vichyssoise, steak frites and croque-monsieur; Blue Door greatest hits including taro root mousse ravioli and ''crabavocat'' salad (blue crab and guacamole) plus gussied-up munchies such as Kobe beef sliders with crispy pancetta and a hot-pressed duck confit medianoche.
And since you might be so happy just to have a mouth full of chewey goodness, you won't think twice about the prices which start at $9 for soup and go up to $39 for a New York strip steak.
Room rates for next weekend start at $395 a night.
