Jane Says...The Jane's Rooftop Bar Will Happen

We relayed a rumor (hello, we like "chatter" around here) yesterday that the Jane Hotel's upcoming rooftop bar/terrace was not gonna be a-happenin' because it had been voted down by the Community Board. This was really notsogood news — and it just seems like the hits just keep on coming for MacPherson's micro-hotel.

Of course, we checked in with the official peeps at Jane and they seem quite a bit more optimistic than our tipsters; but that's no surprise. The official word:

The rooftop will probably not open until the end of the summer but the date might change. The ballroom is set to open in May. F&B is still TBD but we will let you know when we have more details.

Hmm. But that's just what Jane says (like the Jane's Addiction song? Anyone?)

So we should be holding out hope, maybe? We'll keep an eye on the sitch and keep you updated as we hear more.
