Fairmont Hotels' Secret 'Friends and Family' Code Will Get You a Great Deal

This might be just the deal to get you out of your staycation mode and into a hotel. We just got our hands on the unpublished Fairmont Hotels "Friends and Family" code.

Use the code NFAF when booking at any Fairmont Hotel online and you can save A LOT on your next Fairmont hotel stay. We tested the code and room rates came back at hugely significant discount (we're really not allowed to say how much but its a lot. Trust us.)

There are just a few restrictions. You must only use the code for personal travel (not any business or group travel) and it only applies to hotel stays that are booked within 90 days of the booking date. Also, if there's a big event going on in town and the Fairmont thinks they can get higher rates the promo code might not get you much of a discount. So make sure to check what the rates would be without the code first.

You also need to use a Booker ID # to book it. As it turns out, we have one! Use this code upon Step 3 of your online reservation 54807046.

And one more bit of advice: If you ever wanted to stay at The Plaza in New York (above), now's your chance.

no luck

I tried to book at Le Frontenac in quebec city - May 23-May 25.  No luck.  code not recognized.

it worked for me at two U.S. hotels. but the restrictions didn't mention anything about canada.

i just tried for quebec

and it said, "We could not find rate offers to meet your specific preferences." there might be something else going on there.

an update!

hotels have a limited amount of inventory for rooms with that code. so you have to check different dates and different hotels.

got a great rate at the plaza but called to verify, they need an employee number to honor rate and name of employee who gave you the rate promo code, so?????

you use this code to book online. then you fill in the booker ID # listed above after you select the rate you want.

fairmont deals

You will only receive the rate based on availability, maximum 90 days in advance and it is only available online.  No employee name or position is requred.  All changes to the reservation must be made online.

Another code is 69511905.  I have used it for Vancouver and Boston.

  • When choosing a destination, enter "NFAF" in the "Promotional Code" field.

worked like a charm

i just booked the fairmont queen elizabeth in montreal, quebec canada. great deals price went from $189 to $119 (no deposit needed and cancellation up until the day of reservation).

works just fine

I just booked 2 nights in Victoria. Lowest rate went from $167 to $119/night with the code. Not all codes listed here work, just keep trying till one of them works for you and you receive confirmation of your reservation. good luck.

Montreal Fairmont Hotel NFAF Code

I just booked the Fairmont in Montreal for August with the code. It didn't ask me for a booker Id and I got the great price. This is perfect location since I am taking the train to New York. But I am a little scare if I get there and I need more information.
I would like to hear from anyone who used this promotion already. Did the hotel ask for more information when you register?
Do I need to have an employee name and employee code?

i used it at the plaza

the other week and they did not ask for any more information. but you may want to call the hotel and see if the reservation is in their system.

newport beach

i just used the code and was able to book for newport beach and confirm the reservation online. once it's in their system, is it still possible to have a problem when we actually show up?

Fairmont Hotels Friends and Family code

Code has changed from NFAF to some new one as of 3-31-2010...Does anyone have the new one?

error message

 When entering the promotional code NFAF you are now given an error saying ""The Friends & Family promotion has changed, and as a result the promotional code you have entered is no longer valid. Please contact your friend or family member who is a Fairmont colleague to help you make your reservation. Thank you.""
