The resort plans to open with 85 guestrooms and suites with terraces or balconies, fireplaces and original artwork. There will also be a spa “with sublime extras,” and a restaurant whose menu will be inspired by the local Oregon farm fare. Since this is wine country, the resort’s grounds will also feature 30 acres of vineyards, gardens and footpaths. As of now, the room rates will start at $295 per night, and range up to $1000 per night for the grand suite.
The Allison will also have a concierge service to help guests craft personalized visits to some of the 200 nearby wineries of the Willamette Valley because, admit it, you don’t know much about the area's Pinot Noirs either.
