Remember that hotel for rockstars that some journalists dubbed the "Iron Maiden Hotel" because, um, the hotel was meant to appeal to musicians and also because one of Iron Maiden's managers was involved in the company behind the hotel? Yes, well. It's called Sanctum Soho, and it opened today.

Owner Mark Fuller, in an interview with Sky News, was all about getting across the anything-goes vibe of the place, emphasizing that all are welcome — whether they're John Legend-types dressed in suave suits, or drunk, sweaty and fresh-off-the-stage rockers rolling in past midnight.

And! Guests can have whatever they want, no judging. From Sky News:

"We're here to look after the rockers," said owner Mark Fuller, the man behind the famous Embassy nightclub. He said staff will be happy do anything for guests - as long as it is legal.

"If they want their Jack Daniels in the bath, we're here and we won't question it, we'll just get on with it. We'll just ask, 'How much Jack Daniels do you want in the bath?'" he said.

The front deskers are dressed in black a la Elvis's Heartbreak Hotel, mini-bars are hidden inside huge speaker stacks, and a movie theater in the basement will show movies like Notorious (you know, the Biggie Smalls movie). The bar's open (and serving) 24 hours, there's a jacuzzi on the rooftop, and the windows don't open wide enough to throw a TV through — so trashing the rooms all rockstar-style will be just a wee bit difficult, and you'll feel stupid if you try.

Rooms start at £175 per night and go up to around £3,500 for a big suite; rezzies are open here.
