The Chelsea AC Doesn't Want You to Leave Their 5th Floor

Since a popular idea of vacation relaxation involves laying on a beach chair and barely moving save for grabbing another drink, we think that Atlantic City's Chelsea Hotel will delight those who maybe won't be making it down to the tropics this summer. Aside from super-convenient proximity to the boardwalk and beach, The Chelsea boasts an all-in-one partying and dining destination which is simply their 5th Floor.

A bit like staying at an all-inclusive property without the free meals, sleeping at the Chelsea means that once you wake up, you only need take the elevator once to spend your day drinking in the Oval Bar and Living Room, shooting pool and reading by the fire in the Game Room, hanging with friends in the Terrace Room, taking a dip in the outdoor pool and then dining at the Chelsea Prime steakhouse.

Just to make things even easier, The Chelsea will be focusing their Friday nights around the multiple attractions of their 5th Floor, aptly naming the evenings "5th Floor Fridays." We'd guess that this is The Chelsea's way of welcoming the weekend guests who may have just arrived from the city or elsewhere and are looking to enjoy a relaxing evening at their hotel before setting out to gamble and shop. On Fridays then, there's a special "Small Bites and Sweets" menu at Chelsea Prime, $5 drink specials in the Oval Bar, and a DJ in the Terrace Lounge. Once the weather warms up sufficiently, however, you can bet that we'd revert to ditching it all and laying next to the pool, never getting up save for the need to order another drink.

Book early though, as we price-checked a Friday night room for late May and saw rates beginning at $270; snap the Fridays up before the prices jump for summer.

The Chelsea = Luxe Tower + Annex

The above review is mostly of Luxe Tower of The Chelsea.
Annex of the chelsea is very different from Luxe Tower of the chelsea.

I'd like the potential guest of the chelsea to know what it is like staying in the room in Annex.

According to the chelsea's own description:
"Adjacent to The Chelsea and above Teplitkzy's, Stephen Starr's diner inspired restaurant, "The Annex" offers retro-motel style accommodations - updated with fresh new beds and sumptuous white bedding."

The rooms in Annex are literally those  with new beds in a motel.  Anyway, you can use the facilities in Luxe Tower.  However, the room in Annex is so bad, I wasn't able to think of nothing else.

"Adjacent to The Chelsea"?

Is Annex not a part of The Chelsea?  I think that the hotel thinks that Annex is not a part of The Chelsea.  If they think that The Annex is a part of The Chelsea, they shouldn't have described Annex as something "adjacent to The Chelsea".
