Boston Police Search for Marriott and Westin Hotel Killer
Ugh. Frightening news out of Boston this week: police in Beantown are searching for a man who attacked two female victims at two upscale Boston hotels, killing one.
Julissa Brisman from New York City was staying at the Marriott Copley Place and had, apparently, advertised herself as a masseuse on Craigslist.
Per an AP report:
Police said they think she was fighting an attacker during an attempted robbery when he shot her several times in the torso. And the same person may have been involved in the robbery last week of a woman at the Westin Copley Hotel, Police Commissioner Edward Davis said.
The victim at the Westin was bound with a plastic cord and robbed of a debit card and $800 in cash; she had also advertised massage services on Craigslist, but police believe she was involved in prostitution.
People: be safe in your hotel rooms. It doesn't matter where you are or what kind of hotel you're in you've gotta be smart. Oh, and be careful with your Craigslisting.
