With their just-launched Explore California Passport contest, JDV apparently doesn't want you to have to leave California before covering it completely.

Register now to win one of their 25 no-strings-attached passports, granting you two-night stays at each of Joie de Vivre’s 35 hotels. This means 70 room nights, with a two-year validity and transferability to friends and family, and no blackout dates. Think of all the hotel toiletries you'll rake in!
