Score a Room at The Breakers and Other Palm Beach Hotels for $19.09

Sorta over the Miami scene? Or just can't really afford to hit it up right now? Opt for the decidedly calmer, considerably more affordable Palm Beach if you've got a hankerin' for a Florida getaway (or visit your grandparents!) — and in '09, you can do it on the cheap.

To celebrate the 1909 founding of Palm Beach County, the CVB down there has launched a $19.09 room rate campaign that will score you a room for less than 20 bucks after stays of 2, 3, or 4 nights, depending which of the 40+ hotels in the area you go for.

The deal — which includes hotels like the massive Breakers and The Colony Hotel and Cabana Club — requires a rate code upon making your reservation (mostly it's 1909), but they're all conveniently listed here for you. Happy beaching!
