- Sè San Diego

As rooftop pools are de rigeur in San Diego, it's no surprise that the Se San Diego has just unveiled their own 7,000 sq-ft rooftop oasis on the 4th floor. The space features an overflowing edge pool with underwater surround sound, a bar, eight private cabanas (with bottle service, natch) and the option of getting a massage poolside from the Sè SPA. But perhaps the most exotic part of Sīrĕn are the acrobats or as we have more commonly known them as, the Mer-Geishas:
Thursday and Saturday nights guests can enjoy breathtaking visual performances, including central acrobatics, shadow box performances, and revamped tango acts, that utilize the pool as the stage. Hotel guests with rooms overlooking the pool have “box seats” for the show, and the option to have a private bar on their balcony.
This is a snapshot of the acrobats at the grand opening of Sīrĕn and it looks impressive. However, Friday nights will be a little bit of letdown with just a DJ and instrumental musicians providing the tune. Not to dismiss their jobs or anything, but how can you top Mer-Geishas?
And don't worry, if you want to tell us about your experience at this rooftop pool, we'll totally forgive you if you just write Siren instead of Sīrĕn.
