We figure you've gotten used to being teased today (hello, it's April Fool's Day — surely someone played some kind of joke on you where they told you great news and then informed you they were just kidding, right?) so we're going to throw one more in there: Boston’s only roof-top pool, up on top of The Colonnade Hotel, is opening!
But not yet. Not til May 22. See? We teased you.
Anyway, this Boston hotspot (er, cooldown spot) sits 12 stories above the street in Beantown's Back Bay neighborhood. Starting on May 22nd, you can get yourself up in there from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday. The bad news? We hear from a hotel rep that this year the fee is $35 per person — up from the $30 listed on last year's website. Sad.
But the good news: hotel guests get in for free; rooms start around $299 in May.
