The hotel is located in the atmospheric neighborhood of San Telmo, where you’ll find impromptu street tango dancers, a huge antiques market on Sundays, and nearby, the main sights of the city like the Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo.
There are three types of rooms, in ascending order: the City Room, the Superior Room, and the Suite Barcelona. All seem to be decorated with similar themes of white textiles, clean lines, stone floors and glass furnishings, with just a splatter of color here and there.
City rooms come with one king or two twin beds, glassed in shower, LCD TV, iPod doc, WiFi connection, and safe. Superiors have all that plus a mini-bar, whirlpool bath, and overlook the garden and pool area. Suites have a separate living room and bedroom, and Mies van der Rohe chairs scattered about.
Aside from the hotel’s trendy Kitchen Restaurant, the poolside Sky Bar, and loungy Cosmo Bar, there's also a business center and a health center with a gym, smoothie bar and “water circuit” (Jacuzzi and steam bath. Now, you’ve got everything you need to look good in that speedo.
Rates start as low as $105 per night.
