The property down at 75 Wall Street was slated to be completed by the end of '08, but, like every other hotel opening in the big city lately, things have slowed down considerably. We should not be expecting to meet those trippy bathrooms face-to-face until the Fall of 2009, according to a rep for the hotel.

Meanwhile, further uptown, the 144-room Andaz Midtown will be directly across from the New York Public Library and it Fall '09 opening date is now going to be more like sometime in 2010. If it ever opens, you can bet we'll be the first ones hitting that wine bar (and vino shop in the hotel's downstairs cellar!) to make a toast.
