In the shops at the Wynn Las Vegas, not only will you find some of the luxury standards like Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, but they've got some rarer five-star specimens just asking to be hit by the recession. For example, blinged-out phone maker Vertu, diamond dealer Graff and red carpet maestro Oscar de la Renta all sit shoulder-to-shoulder in competition for your Wynn winnings.
The situation at the Macau Wynn is similar, although their shop roster is more impressive with the addition of Bulgari, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hermes, Tiffany & Co, Van Cleef and Arpels, Piaget and more. Altogether, that's a lot of diamonds and exotic skins for gathering dust.
Nonetheless, there is power in numbers and so as long as Vertu and Manolo Blahnik can keep up the fight and maintain all of their boutiques through the recession, both Wynns will remain shopping meccas for the few with deposits to drop. We just hope they don't touch the sundries section; we are really liking these mints.
