Come On, Pretty Mama, to Bermuda's Cambridge Beaches

So, you were reading Jaunted and saw that today happens to be that big huge JetBlue sale — so you snapped up two tickets to Bermuda for you and your honey at dirt-cheap prices. But, um, you didn't think about a hotel, and you don't really want to take your babe to a place that could be described using the words "dirt" and "cheap" at all.

May we suggest the super-posh Cambridge Beaches Resort, a 94-room property (with Bermuda-style cottages) sitting on a private peninsula?

The resort is offering a splurge-worthy Romance Package valid for stays between April 16, 2009 and April 15, 2010, and if you book it (an extra $900 — but remember all the airfare money you just saved) you get a champagne-and-flowers welcome, breakfast in bed, a 50-minute couple's massage, and a choice of a double moped for three days or a $200 resort credit. Plus, they'll even set the mood for you with turndown service (with candles!), rose petals, a romantic CD and a "sensual dessert sampling." A minimum three-night stay is required (except for May 15 - Sept. 1, 2009, when you've gotta stay four nights). Without the package, rates go from $590 for a standard water-view room to $1,710 for your own luxury suite with a private pool.

Pricey, yes — but to celebrate Bermuda's 400th anniversary, you can score a $400 resort credit if you stay four nights or longer between April 20 and Aug. 21, too. Book before March 28, and that $400 credit rises to $500.
