Sofitel's Seasonal Diversion Package
We hate to break it to Sofitel Hotels, but we're not so sure the high-rollin' professional kind of people that tend to jetset to London, Paris, New York, Rio, Sydney and Shanghai for the weekend can really take advantage of a fourth night free deal. Unless of course they could take off the Thursday or the Monday on that long weekend, and well, you know what everyone says: "not in this economy."
The hotel chain is offering a "Seasonal Diversion" package through May 25th. Besides that fourth night free, the deal includes "delicious chocolates for sweet indulgence" and a 4:00 pm late check-out.
But then, what fancy hotel doesn't leave delicious chocolates for sweet indulgence on your hotel bed? Sofitel, allow us to throw around some suggestions that might get us a bit more excited: a free spa treatment. Free ski lift tickets. A bottle of fine champagne, wine or sake could be a good deal. Even a VIP happy hour between 4pm and 6pm might do it for us. But this? Not as much.
The real "Seasonal Diversion Package" perks aside, the price for this deal isn't so shabby. Rooms at Sofitel New York start at $262, DC at $187, and Los Angeles at $242.
