The Muse New York — the Kimpton property in midtown Manhattan whose creative packages, pet concierge and mixology challenges we've come to develop a soft spot for — is wrapping up its long renovation process in the coming weeks.
The hotel is in its final stages of the multi-million dollar makeover that's being going on for a couple of years now — the rooms were completed in October of '07 — and the lobby had been closed since early January of this year. That wasn't such a bad thing for some people, though: some TripAdvisor reviews reported a major rate kickback because of the construction.
But! The newly revamped lobby just re-opened last week, though there are still some curtains up while the space gets some finishing touches. The whole thing will be unveiled in early April but, 'til then, check out these snaps of the space open so far.
