The Hotel Formerly Known as The Madison and The Wolf Needs a New Name

We know a lot of corporate mumbo-jumbo goes into the naming of new hotel brands and properties, but sometimes it seems like we could have done a better job, say, brainstorming at a bar.
Seems the Desires Hotel collection sort of agrees, and wants to put you to task to name the 72-room hotel formerly known as The Madison in NYC’s Flatiron District. (Which, unfortunately, seems to shatter our dreams of the place being called The Wolf.)
As the hotel undergoes a total renovation (set to reopen this summer), Desires wants any of you would-be hotel branders to vote for your favorite of five names and logos as part of the “You Name It, We Claim It” campaign (as seen previously in a similar contest by JDV).
Voters who choose the most-voted-for name will be in the running for some pretty sweet prizes (particularly considering the three seconds it takes to vote). The grand prize winner will get a three-night stay, including airfare, at a Desires Hotel in Miami, San Juan, NYC, Milwaukee, or St. Louis. Second place wins an iPod Touch, third place an iPod Nano.
Voting runs through April 2. To be honest, we’re not really loving any of the name options, but we do love the idea of a free three-night getaway. So get to the polls!
