The special package rates begin at approximately $260 per room per night at the Concorde Montparnasse, and range all the way up to about $800 at the ultra-deluxe Hotel de Crillon. Concorde’s other properties properties include the famous Hotel Lutetia, Concorde Saint-Lazare, Hotel du Louvre, and Hotel Concorde La Fayette.
The package includes:
· Double room accommodation.
· Buffet breakfast for two.
· Two tickets with priority access to the Andy Warhol exhibition.
· A “Warhol-themed box of delicious Parisian sweets.” Don’t ask us what that means, but it sounds...colorful.
So, what’s so special about this particular Warhol exhibit? According to our sources, it will feature 250 works by the so-called King of Pop Art, making it the largest collection of his works organized in the last thirty years. It will be showing at the Grand Palais from March 18-June 29, 2009.
One final tip: the Grand Palais is closed on Tuesdays. That’s mardi for you Frenchies out there.
