The bedroom is just the bed (queen-sized), plus about a foot on one side and two on the other. The bathroom looks a tad grubby (there’s an ominous stain on the floor that we would not like to use a UV lamp on) and there’s a very noisy fan which is denting our peace of mind a little.
Our window looks straight into someone else’s room (the spoilsports inside have closed the curtains) but then we did ask for a quiet room, because again, according to TripAdvisor, the ones at the front are noisy. Having walked in off that main road, we can imagine.
So we can’t hear cars, at least. What we can hear, though, is the person next door. We can hear them perfectly, walking around and plugging things into the sockets. We hope that’s as wild as they get, because we need to sleep after our ride on the world’s first low cost long haul airline.
But we're not giving up hope. Maybe we're just jet lag cranky and we'll have mellowed towards the Tune Hotel after a good rest. Although we can promise one thing: it’s not, as its website boasts, a “five star sleeping experience at a one star price.” Hmm.
