Bring the Kids to the Opening of One & Only Cape Town

Long a favorite of the rich and famous, the One & Only Resort chain seems to only build properties in the most drool-worthy of locations, yet adding nightly prices to make your throat go dry. The newest addition to their fancy flock is the One & Only Cape Town, due to open on April 3 and boasting such frills as an island yoga pavilion and restaurants from star chefs Gordon Ramsay and Nobu's Nobuyuki Matsuhisa.

If you're planning a spring jaunt down to South Africa, the opening rate package surprisingly favors families with a deal to stay three nights and have the kids sleep free, all the while the parents get to luxuriate with included 45-minute spa treatments and a bottle of Cape Estate wine.

Prices may start at $540 a night for marina rooms and up to $1,770 for a junior suite on one of their two harbor private islands, but considering that your free bottle of wine comes from a tri-level wine loft and the views are of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain, the quality ratio wins over quantity.

To book the deal before the rates hike up for early autumn, visit their website at One & Only Resorts.
