Interestingly enough, the hotel is actually part of a "major business district" that includes not only Internet City but Knowledge City and Media City as well. God, this might be the ultimate Geek heaven.
The hotel's website is sadly void of any good room photographs (there are some that are slightly bigger than thumbnails) nor are there any virtual tours. From what we could see, the rooms do look pretty fancy and modern for a Holiday Inn but it's hard to tell. However, the site does mention that the hotel has WiFi in all of the public areas. As it should. This is Internet City afterall!
Wanting more, we skipped on over to TripAdvisor to see what this place is like. The reviews are fairly positive too with many guests complimenting the staff, the modern decor and the amenities (plasma TVs). However one reviewer said the hotel is not in a great location to explore the city of Dubai as a whole (including all that glitzy, glamorous ridiculuxe stuff.)
Rates here start at a decidedly un-Dubai price of $122 a night.
