Since it's been about nine months since the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Florida put out their Fertile Turtle package — yes, a hotel package designed to attract couples hoping to conceive a child — it only makes sense that they're now ready to cater for the offspring of these packages. Enter the Baby Butler deal.

We thought it was a little crazy at first, but actually this package is probably a smart idea for new parents. Marco Island has figured out that packing for a trip with a baby is a nightmare, so they want you to be able to get everything you need from the resort instead of bringing it with you.

That means that you can now get — for free, at least for your first child — daily diaper delivery (including some swim diapers for the pool), a tub of baby wipes, diaper cream, in-room crib and free meals for under-threes, plus a 10% discount on hire of extra equipment like strollers and high chairs. Rates start at $274 per night and although we don't personally know the cost of diapers these days, we're figuring having them thrown in is a nice deal. You have to pay a "nominal fee" for additional kids.

To be honest, the only thing that gets us down about this deal is the name "Baby Butler". It might have been cool if it didn't have the Fertile Turtle to live up to, but we can only assume the turtle-obsessed marketing genius has moved on.
