Oh noes! New York's posh party in the park, better known as Bryant Park Fashion Week, has reached the end of its lease on the and has to pick up and move from the park beginning from fall 2009. The move to a new space was just finalized, and although it lacks a glamorous name (it's called Damrosch Park), Fashion Week's new digs does come with the swish neighbor of Lincoln Center and a whole bevy of midtown hotels.

At last, the Bryant Park Hotel's vice grip on all the cool parties will be loosened as fashionistas in tottering heels will be looking to do their tippling at a hotel a little closer to the Lincoln Center shows. So who will be raking in the crazy cash and cuties this fall when Fashion Week abandons Bryant Park for its new uptown digs? Let's take a look at the likely suspects:

The Empire Hotel: This is the sure-fire win for official hotspot, as it is not only across the street from Lincoln Center, but also boats a newly-renovated rooftop space. An alfresco lounge and pooldeck make all the difference in New York, and The Empire Hotel answers with both, plus room rates starting at $279. Wait, scratch that, as we just checked prices for September's Fashion Week and The Empire Hotel knows that they're about to become a hot tamale as rates rocketed up to $399 for a standard room and $525 for a deluxe king.

The Hudson Hotel: This hotel may not be on top of Fashion Week like the Empire, but its two-and-a-half block distance and Philippe Starck design mean it definitely won't be left off the circuit. In lieu of a roofdeck, the Hudson offers up a swish bar and restaurant, Hudson Cafeteria, which is popular with those wanting to see and be seen even in the off season. Rates for Fashion Week are looking good at $249 for a single and $279 for a standard double.

The Mandarin Oriental: What this classic property lacks in crazy design, it more than makes up for in fashion clout. Thanks to the simple ads they've been running in the glossy rags for seasons, where a sophisticated famous face states that they are "a fan" of the brand (like Isabella Rossellini), they've been planting seeds in the subconscious of the hip set for a while. Sadly, we were not able to sniff out a room rate as their reservations website is malfunctioning.

Runners-up: The Trump International Hotel & Tower because it's right there, and the Jumeirah Essex House because they'd totally deal with those pesky paparazzi for you.

Don't write off Bryant Park and The Bryant Park Hotel too soon.

Fashion week isn't moving to Lincoln Center until the Fall of 2010, not 2009 as the above entry states.

There are still three more fashion weeks in Bryant Park.
