What you are looking at is the Philippe Starcke-designed Spa at Icon Brickell, the very spa that is open to guests of the Viceroy Miami. As you can tell, this spa is quite unusual from other hotel spas. For starters, the 28,000-sq.ft relaxation mecca has killer views of Biscayne Bay from every facility including the locker rooms and the spinning studio. And almost all of the windows are floor-to-ceiling. Believe us when we say this: you will never want to leave here.

That space in the video isn't just for show. Officially called The Water Lounge, spa guests can relax and unwind before and after their treatments in the three hot-and-cold plunge pools or on the waterborne sofas and chairs. No more dark chilly rooms with worn-out chaise lounges where ladies read Good Housekeeping in stuffy silence as they await their treatment. This place is exciting! Grab a juice drink from the spa's juice bar and entertain yourself before your massage. No magazines needed.

As for the treatments, they are quite luxe. The spa centers its "wellness experience" around the ancient curative element which is (you guessed it) water. Also treatments are guided by the spa's motto: “Be Inspired, Be Uplifted, Be Transformed." We're most interested in their "Non-Surgical Facelift" facial. "Be Uplifted" indeed.

Guests can also use the 2,500-sq.ft. gym which has every cardio machine you could need as well as free weights, fitness classes, a Gyrotonics studio, Yoga and Pilates and the aforementioned spinning studio. The only thing the spa doesn't seem to have is a hair salon but the spa director assured us they could have someone come in to do your 'do.

The lone downside to all of this magnificent pampering experience is that getting to the spa is a little tricky. Guests need to exit the Viceroy tower and mosey past the pool area to the tower on the left. Then they will need to take an elevator up to the spa. There is no signage to lead your way so make sure you have specific directions on how to get there. We wouldn't want you to miss your spa appointment.

A 60-minute massage begins at $145. Facials start at $155. For a complete list of services, go here.
