· Ace Hotel New York: Well, it was supposed to open March 1st — but it ain't gonna be ready by Monday. Still, we're psyched to check out the West Coast hipster brand's rooms, which are designed to look like your cool big-city pal's apartment — hopefully soon.

· W Hoboken: Yes, it's New Jersey. But mood curtains! A club! A SWEAT gym! Zylo Steakhouse! We have been waiting on this one for a while — and we're sort of rooting for this hotel to be awesome just so people from Jersey can brag about it. March 18th, people.

· The Betsy: Okay, Miss Betsy. We are ready for your grand entrance now. This Desires Hotel — formerly the Betsy Ross — is supposed to be re-opening sometime very, very soon with a brand new breezy Ralph Lauren-esque look (whites! lavenders! Ooh la-la!) and a BLT Steak.

· The Chatwal: What we formerly had been referring to as the Lamb's Club Hotel (the property is in the building that used to house the legendary Lamb's Club "theatrical social club") was renamed the Chatwal in '08 — and we've been waiting 10 years for it. So, um, tricky Vikky? This had better be good. Official opening date, per LHW: "to be advised." Okay.

· W South Beach: We've been waiting for this baby since '05. And hallelujah: last week, we found room rates for July 1st! Supposedly, rooms will be open in June — and if you were to tell us 5 years ago that Hoboken would get a W before South Beach, we woulda called you cray-cray.
