Renderings of SoHo's Grand Street Hotel Have Surfaced
Music to our ears: now we have yet another hip boutique hotel to add to our list of eagerly-anticipated properties rising in NYC for our stalking pleasure. The eagle-eyed real estate gurus at Curbed have unearthed renderings of the new hotel rising at 27 Grand Street, the former site of the Moondance Diner in SoHo.
The property, according to owners Brack Capital Real Estate, will be a 70,000 square-foot boutique hotel with all the fixins: "the 114 room hotel will include a fitness center, meeting space, restaurant, garden, spa, rooftop pool and bars."
Curbed has a few more renderings to give you a closer look at the "cool woods with expansive sun lit windows cast[ing] radiant light on clean lines" inside the rooms although this particular room rendering looks like the Cooper Square lobby had a baby with an IKEA Malm bedroom set, no?
Anyone got any deets on who's going to manage this hotel or any more dirt on expected opening dates (er, very rough estimates?) You know where to send 'em.
