From the press release:
Physically connected to Bellagio and adjacent to ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara will offer access to all of the entertainment, gaming, shopping, dining and nightlife at CityCenter and in Las Vegas, while also providing a retreat from it all.... Soaring 57 stories, Vdara will host 1,495 suites ranging from 500 to 1,650 square feet....
Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, ARIA will feature unprecedented combination of exclusive guestroom technology, spectacular amenities, personalized attention and sustainable design. The soaring 4,004-room steel and glass beauty will be the centerpiece of CityCenter with a sophisticated, modern design demonstrably different from any building that has preceded it.
Vdara will feature cuisine from Martin Heierling who already helms the AAA four-diamond Sensei restaurant at Bellagio while ARIA will have restaurants from Masayoshi Takayama, Shawn McClain, Michael Mina, Julian Serrano, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Sirio Maccioni, Jean-Philippe Maury and The Light Group. There will also be a Cirque du Soleil production inside ARIA as well.
Even though ARIA is not opening its rooms until December, the hotel's concierge service and reservations for the spa, salon and restaurants will open in October. Let's hope both of these hotels don't fall victim to the dreaded "D" word.
