Hot diggety! The rich freakin always stay rich! (Well, unless they totally invested everything with Bernie Madoff.) Apparently it's been Opposite Day for Hotel St. Barth Isle de France when it comes to sales. As our nation and economy continues a dangerous downward spiral, Hotel SBIDF is packing in the guests.

While other hotels saw a decline in business, Hotel SBIDF saw their business improve since November 2008, says a rep. They've been dropping money into the property like crazy too.

Hotel SBIDF recently unveiled four killer beach suites overlooking the Baie des Flamands beach. No boho beachbum design here. They hired the uber-pricy London interior designer Penny Morrison of Morrison Interiors to drop in a little casual chic with parquet floors and vintage French fabrics along their powdery sand beaches.

Que d'autre? Well, the 1,500 square foot suites rock out with accoutrement like 52" plasma TVs and free WiFi. There's the requisite private terrace overlooking the beach, a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers and a stone bathtub. The bedroom beach suite is priced roughly at $2,670 a night and varies by season. It's the French West Indies, mon cherie so we'll be paying in euro and tipping with a little chic, yet thoroughly affected snobbery.

Regular room rates begin at 725 Euros.
