Now that we've given you some time to recover from your extreme case of apartment envy after we showed you the video of the penthouse level terrace suites inside The Plaza, we've determined just how much you will need to live here for a year. Are you sitting down? You should be because it will take about $3.65 million, give or take a few hundred Benjamins to be able to tell a taxi driver that Fifth Avenue and Central Park South are your coordinates. (How very Jolie-Pitt budgetarily speaking.)

Until we or anyone with that kind of money is willing to drop the equivalent of a lowly paid CEO's annual salary, the Plaza suites are being used as party spots.

Waris Ahluwalia of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou fame kicked it a few hours by throwing an event in the space to show his new line of jewelry. In reality though, most penthouse terrace guests stay an average of two weeks says a rep. That's only $140K, or just undergraduate tuition at a first tier school. Pennies!

Yet remember, this is still The Plaza. It is not your "too-cool-for-school" party promoter's W Hotel. A publicist for the hotel describes the suites as "French Louis the 15th with modern accents." Those modern accents include a touch-screen panel that controls lighting, climate, the real butler, music, and other amenities just a privileged finger tap away.

But true to the old-money vibe are room descriptors like Grand Gallery, and Great Room where you'll find one of the fireplaces and some skylights. Besides white glove services you are also privy to the top of the line gym and spa facilities, the chicest of restaurants and bars that include The Oak Room and Rose Club. Hmm...in the famous words of Cinderella: "Some day our sugar daddy prince will come."
