The Sun Never Sets on Circus Circus
Well, the Circus Circus in Las Vegas is supposed to be fun and kitschy and have an over-the-top Las Vegas theme-y vibe. The hotel is, like a circus, supposed to be bright and fun but do you know what's not so bright and fun? This view, which appears to block out views of the sunset (or sunrise). And the strip. And everything. Except the top of the fake circus tent, that is!
This shot, taken by iJammin, sort of depresses us. It reminds us of that feeling we used to get when we got in trouble in second grade and had to stay inside during recess while all the other kids ran around and outside. We could see the tops of their heads out the classroom windows, and could hear them yelling and laughing and playing, but we couldn't see all the action or participate in it we just knew there was fun out there, and we weren't having any.
But you know what? You can probably deal with a view like this if you're only paying $22 for your room. Seriously: we checked on rates for tonight and you can score yourself a circus-y room at the ol' Circus Circus for a hot double-deuce.
