As we've been anticipating for quite some time, Kor Hotels' newest property, Viceroy Miami, is set to open its doors tomorrow.

Apparently, a small handful of people — fashionistas and Fendi fans — have already been in and around the property. Last week, Fendi reportedly held a small fashion show on the rooftop of the soon-to-open hotel, debuting their spring collection and showing off the new-to-America Peek-A-Boo handbag. The runway was placed over the swimming pool (the longest infinity pool in Florida!) and models were officially the first sexy people to make an appearance up on the Viceroy's roof, setting an appropriate precedent for what is sure to become a sexy-people-watching hotspot.

Special opening rates are still lookin' to be at $199, but no rooms are available until the 15th (according to the online reservation system, anyway). If you want to get in there to check out the property — the Kelly Wearstler-designed rooms, the 50-person hot tub and that giant Fendi-christened infinity pool — you might want to get in there now before standard room rates jump up to the projected $400 per night.

KOR - Viceroy Miami

The hotel is for sale. Just like when Jorge Perez canceled his deal with Brad Korzen on South Beach. None of his Miami Hotels make money. His wife overdesigns them and they cant afford the debt service so Related Group is jumping ship
