This could be your view, if you're a rugby fan who's staying at the Marriott London Twickenham and if you book one of the six suites that face directly down onto the rugby pitch at Twickenham's stadium. Marriott recently opened the rooms, which come complete with a private dining/seating area, separate bedroom, enviable views of the stadium, and access to a private seating area within Twickenham’s South Stand, as part of the stadium's development.

The rooms, each named after six Grand Slam-winning England captains, have nightly rates averaging $490, but just think of the savings and comfort you'll reap when you're not sitting in the general stands area, and you've got your friends over chipping in on the bill. There's even a cloakroom in the hotel suites, because they anticipate your hosting people for the games! They better make sure to stock the minibar well, though, and throw some fish and chips in the fryer before we walk in.
