Ain't No Party Like a Pink Party in Dallas for NYE
What's glowing and girly and pink all over? The lobby at Le Meridien Dallas, for one thing, as we documented for you just months ago. The answer to this riddle is twofold, though, as the hotel is throwing a very—make that "Perfectly"—Pink Soiree to ring in 2010. Molly Ringwald fans are just beaming, their dates, not so much.
Le Meridien's debut NYE bash, featuring DJ'ed music through 1:00 AM and an accommodation package of dinner, champagne toast, open bar, and complimentary valet and parking for $210, might be the time to cash in the Starwood Preferred Guest points you've been so diligently saving up over the past year. If Pretty in Pink isn't your style, luckily there's a smörgåsbord of New Year's events down in Dallas that night to choose from.
At The Joule alone, we count not one, not two, but six different NYE packages, so pick your poison. We mean party. Shoppers, for example, can "Begin the Year in Style," with a package including a $50 Neiman Marcus gift card and makeover, while classy partiers can go the Cuvee and four-course dinner route with "An Affair to Remember" (starting at $419). When we checked availability at both hotels for the night, we found rooms starting at $325 at The Joule, and rooms at Le Meridien starting at $148 (King, double occupancy). That's without any packages, though, so you've got to pay more to play more.
