Virgin America Partners With … Hilton?

Let’s play a little game of One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other, shall we? After all, it’s not like you’re really doing any work this week, are you? OK, here we go … Virgin America. Mood lighting. Reality TV shows. Free WiFi. Hilton.
OK, so it wasn’t that hard, was it? Now, even though Hilton may seem like the odd one out in this lineup, the granddaddy of hotel chains is now linked to the cool-kid airline through a rewards partnership.
Here’s how it works: members of both the Hilton HHonors program and Virgin America’s Elevate frequent flyer program earn one Elevate point for every $2 spent at participating Hilton hotels. Or you can opt to earn points per stay:50 Elevate points per stay at Hampton, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton properties, or 250 Elevate points at Hilton, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations and Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts.
Elevate members should provide their account number and request the Elevate points when they check-in. HHonors members get to Double Dip and earn both HHonors points and Elevate points.
Virgin America is not the first airline Hilton has partnered with, of course—you can see all of the airlines you can earn miles for at Hilton properties here.
