Come Talk Travel Talk With Us Tomorrow in Tribeca

December 2, 2009 at 4:59 PM | by | Comments (0)

If you aren't getting bombed in your apartment off the holiday cocktail recipes we've been irresponsibly posting, then come on down to Tribeca tickets to our talk tomorrow night with the New York Times' Frugal Traveler, Virgin America and the Roger Smith Hotel!

Heck, even if you have been drinking too many gingersnap martinis, you should still come by and liven up the conversation.

We're bringing a few friends to the table to talk travel trends, or specifically: "Travel Gets Social: The New World of Travel Media." Come meet Bowen Payson, Virgin America Manager of Online and Digital Marketing, NY Times Frugal Traveler Matt Gross, Adam Wallace, New Media Director for Roger Smith Hotel and others, with it all moderated by the man who started this here site: Mark G. Johnson, founder of Jaunted, HotelChatter and VegasChatter.

All the details, after the jump.

Hang out with other travelers who need their travel news and reviews now, those whose interests can't be contained in a monthly publication. Join the site editors, including yours truly, for a real-time discussion on the ever changing world of online travel and how social media is changing the way travel is bought, sold, reviewed and experienced.

Even better, we'll be raffling off the chance to win flights to any Virgin America destination. So, if you're already following us on Twitter, Facebook, or just regular old right here, then why not follow us in real life for a night?

Oh yes—and there is totally a bar at the 92Y Tribeca, with "beers from Brooklyn from Belgium," so we're thinking this event is a great start to a Manhattan evening out. Tickets are $12 per person, available online here.
