Still scrambling for Christmas travel plans? Not all that into Christmas? You may want to consider Heebing it up in Palm Springs. That’s where you’ll find the annual Heebonism celebration, going down this year at The Ace Hotel Palm Springs. Now, this ain’t no fake “Festivus” holiday. Heebonism is an annual Jewish Christmas tradition complete with Chinese food, DJs, and dancing. It’s put on by the Jewish hipster kids of Heeb magazine, who explain the bash like this:

Get ready for the annual event that the Travel Channel recently called, "one of the largest, glitziest, rowdiest and most untamed shindigs in the world." That’s right, the mother of all Christmas Eve parties.

Satellite “shindigs” will be happening in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Denver—where the Heebs will gather at the groovy Jet Hotel.

Tickets for the party start at $18 (dinner is $36), but the best part is that The Ace Palm Springs is offering room packages as well as discounts to anyone extending their stay. The packages include single occupancy the night of December 24 and access for one to the Heebonism dinner and party—starting at $180 for a standard room.

Nightly rates for extending your stay to Christmas Day and what those charming Brits call Boxing Day start at $108 for a standard room. (These discounts are only valid 12/25 and 12/26.) There's also a special discount for Palm Springs locals—if you’ve got “proof of desert residence” you can get into the party for just $15, and score dinner for $30.
