The Borgata's NYE Plans Include Everyone From Mariah Carey To John Legend
Made any plans for New Years 2010 yet? How about for January 2 as well? If you've got a long weekend on your hands, the willingness to go to Atlantic City during the winter, and a love of pop music, then you might want to book a package at the Borgata Hotel & Casino stat, since they're going to have Samantha Ronson and Jermaine Dupri DJing, followed by full concerts from John Legend and Mariah Carey.
Although individual admission to their clubs for the big New Year's celebration starts at $60, that includes none of the celebrity spotting. For that, you'll want the Rockstar package:
Starting at $999 per night at Borgata and $1,099 per night at The Water Club, the “Rockstar Package” includes: · One night stay in a Classic Room · Breakfast for two at The Metropolitan · An all-access nightlife pass which includes: · Admission for two to MIXX, mur.mur and Gypsy Bar · $100 beverage credit that can be used at MIXX, mur.mur and Gypsy Bar
Note that the Rockstar package says nothing about John and Mariah, and that's because tickets to their concerts (on January 1 and 2, respectively), are completely separate and running in the triple digits. But all said, if you're down with a long AC weekend and have the money to support it, you could party for days straight and then cool it down and come back to reality with the two back-to-back concerts.
If it was our choice however, we'd go just to see 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan in the Borgata's The Music Box on December 31.
