The thing about BodyHoliday is—and this may have been why Amy Winehouse chose it—that the "BodyHoliday" part is the experience, which focuses on refreshing yourself, detox, exercise, healthy eating...whatever you want to feel better and healthier.To help accomplish this, LeSPORT offers a range of free classes, including things like circus sports, beginning scuba diving, yoga in a building like an Indian temple, and straight-up treats like daily massages in the spa and your choice of restaurants serving fresh cuisine.

The private beach is possibly our favorite part, simply because snorkeling from it is beyond easy, and of course the resort will bring you drinks as you chill in a hammock contemplating the Caribbean sunset. For those less water-happy, LeSPORT boasts on the region's top spas: their Oasis. This building, with several courtyards, loggia, a pool, an Ayurvedic retreat, and some of the best massage therapists and beauty technicians, is where guests head every evening for their included treatments or to upgrade to specials like hot stone massage. We found its roof particularly awesome for stretching at dawn. Somehow we doubt that Winehouse made it up the steps to even appreciate the place.

Room rates at BodyHoliday LeSPORT begin around $400, but keep in mind that it's a private (and spacious) cove with all-inclusive goodies and a no tipping policy. The demographic skews from honeymooning couples who enjoy kayaking, to single and successful women who are all about the Singapore Slings in the hotel's piano bar. We're somewhere in the middle there, and although we skipped on the massages in favor of scuba, we liked it just the same.
