The hotel, located in the Morton Salt building in historic Printers Row, allows you to also add on Chicago Transit Authority passes to get your sports venue. But only buy this if you'll be doing a lot of traveling in the allotted time, otherwise you'll save money just getting one-off CTA cards. If you decide to bring your ride, you have the option to park overnight at the hotel for $25, a discount from the usual $39-per-night rate.
Football fans have their own package, the Bear Down at the Blake package. It offers similar perks as the Game On package, with a complimentary continental breakfast, parking for $25 per night and opportunities to buy CTA passes. The difference is you'll get 30 percent off the best rate (though we strangely get the same room as above for $145 online, so try booking via phone) and a free upgrade when you show your game-day ticket stub.
You'll also get a $30 gift certificate to Hackney's Sports Bar to celebrate or drown your sorrows. If you imbibe too much that night, don't worry; you also get a 2 p.m. late check out. Score.
