Attention Tweens Over 21: Celebrate Twilight's 'New Moon' at Whiskey Blue Nola

Do you love, like really love "Twilight"? Have you read all the books front to back, twice? Are you holding countdown parties to the "New Moon" movie at your house? Would you turn immortal forever for Edward Cullen? And more importantly, are you over the age of 21?

Because that's how old you will need to be to attend the New Moon mania that's going on at Whiskey Blue New Orleans inside the W Hotel. All week long the trendy hotel bar will unabashedly embrace the "Twilight" craze and it's not entirely about Edward, Bella, and Jacob. There is an actual new moon happening on November 16th.

Starting that day, the hotel will kick off the festivities by offering themed cocktails such as Vampire Kiss and Bella’s Lover Martini. (Ooo, we just cringed at the latter drink.) But Saturday is the main event when the bar hosts a post-premiere New Moon Fan Party from 5 p.m. to closing.

Saturday’s event will feature door prizes including New Moon goodies, Gerber Group gift cards and AMC Theater gift cards. DJ Matic will be spinning tunes and fans will not want to miss the photo ops with life-size cutouts of New Moon heartthrobs Edward and Jacob.

Be still your beating tween at hearts, hearts. Just remember, if you get too tipsy you can always steal that life-size cutout and take it back up to the room with you. Rates start at $125 next Saturday night.
