We like to talk about Fashion Hotels quite a bit, naming everything from the Top 3 Milan Fashion Week hotels to where Chanel puts up their guests in Venice. But not often do we actually get to hear about the best fashion hotels from the horse's mouth, but of course Twitter comes through.

While Fashion Week season ends, one of the newest Twitter celebs has earned a loyal following thanks to his devotion to tweeting live from the front rows and the poshest parties; it's the Creative Director of Elle magazine, Joe Zee. You've seen him on Stylista and now on The City, but the man is more than just a powerful contact; he's a travel pro, with no qualms about naming his favorite hotel in London.

In a recent tweet, Joe Zee (@mrjoezee) answered the question of his choice Londontown sleep by declaring The Covent Garden Hotel tops in his book. This is perhaps the highest compliment for a hotel, to be recommended by a man who not only travels to the most glamorous world capitals constantly, but who has a job that requires him to live for fashion and style, and to influence trends via a top international magazine. We hope the Covent Garden puts nice floral arrangements in his room for such an endorsement.

Funnily enough, The Covent Garden is a sister hotel of the just-opened Crosby Street Hotel, the first hotel outside of London for the Firmdale Hotels chain. While it hasn't been open long enough for Zee to have been inside the place, since he's still in Paris for the runway shows, we're wagering that he'll love the NY version just as much.

Pinks, the dress form and all!

The Crosby St Hotel is going to be overrun with the fashion week crowd in February, isn't it?
