In most parts of the country, all the signs of fall are here: cooler temps, turning leaves, football on TV all weekend, and skimpy Halloween costumes on display at the mall. But not in Miami! (Skimpy costumes are the uniform year-round in South Beach.) The 80-degree days down in South Florida make it hard to remember that we’re meant to be focusing on our Thanksgiving travel plans.

And in fact, if you’d rather spend Thanksgiving in a bikini than in a holiday sweater, the Four Seasons Miami is happy to tempt you away from your familial duties. The fancy hotel in downtown Miami (ie: not at the beach) is offering a "Stay Longer" package this fall, giving guests a complimentary third night with every two consecutive paid nights.

The rates start at $350 a night, and the offer is available now through November 30—including Thanksgiving dates, when many other hotels have strict blackout dates in effect. We tested out the rate’s availability this morning, and we were able to find a “Moderate Room” with a King Bed for November 25–28. The promotion brings the $350-a-night rate down to $233.33 a night over the three-day stay—which ain’t half bad for a Four Seasons.

Reservations can be made on the hotel’s website, or by calling (305) 381-3381. But we suggest you book fast. The number of people wanting to do (free) poolside yoga near Biscayne Bay is sure to outweigh those wanting to carve turkey alongside Uncle Jim with the halitosis.
