Hyatt Gives Free Nights, Bonus Points With 'Next Big Thing' Promotion
You know how sometimes it feels like you’re not really getting much out of your hotel-chain loyalty program except for a bunch of promotional crap in the mail? This is not one of those times. Hyatt Hotels has just announced the launch of what they call its “most generous promotion ever.” So if you’re a Hyatt Gold Passport member, here’s the deal …
The Next Big Thing promotion offers Hyatt Gold Passport members a choice between two unlimited rewards— free nights or bonus points—for stays at any Hyatt property worldwide now through Jan. 31, 2010. So that includes Park Hyatt, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Resorts, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Summerfield Suites and Hyatt Vacation Club properties.
Guests can register their reward preference online (covering them for all stays during the promotion period), choosing from:
Free Nights: earning one free night after every two eligible stays; or
Bonus Points: 3,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points on every eligible stay, starring with the second stay.
Also: every stay during the promotional period will count double towards earning elite tier status.
Both sound like solid options, although we’d probably opt for the free nights. Why? No blackout dates. They can be booked at any Hyatt property in the world between Oct. 15, 2009 and March 31, 2010.
