At the center of her team is Chef Emmanuel Afentoulis, who is taking over the kitchen at the former Rings Restaurant, which has now become the 60-seat Grille 29. Aftentoulis, who is originally from Greece, has created new lunch and dinner menus with Mediterranean-inspired choices like a roasted Portobello sandwich with peppers, red onions, dill Havarti, summer tomato and basil pesto on ciabatta; pan-seared rainbow chard salmon and roasted fingerling potatoes; and calamari with dill garlic lemon tzatziki.
